Our Story
Born from a Simple But Important Realization
Frat Dads was founded from a simple but important realization: while many fathers receive support during pregnancy and childbirth, very few receive the guidance they need as they continue their journey through fatherhood.
After years of working with expectant and new fathers through the nationally recognized Boot Camp for New Dads program, our founder, Melvin White, MS, repeatedly heard the same question:
"What do we do after we bring the baby home?"
That question became the catalyst for creating Dads on Duty™, an educational resource designed to provide fathers with practical knowledge, encouragement, and support beyond the delivery room.
As the need continued to grow, so did the vision. Frat Dads LLC was established to move beyond a single resource and become a fatherhood-centered educational and community engagement organization committed to strengthening fathers, families, youth, organizations, and communities.
Today, Frat Dads develops innovative educational systems, leadership experiences, professional training, and community-based initiatives that equip fathers, strengthen families, develop leaders, and create lasting community impact.
