Young Ladies Mentoring

Young Ladies of Resiliency Mentoring 5th-12th Grade

Frat Dads will provide an innovative five-week cycle curriculum-based program for young ladies with limited or no male role models. Each class is a 60 minute program.

We understand that the absent of male role models can have a significant impact on girls. Some issues that Frat Dads address with young ladies are as follows:

  • Emotional distress: Daughters of absent fathers may experience feelings of abandonment, rejection, and insecurities.

  • Difficulty in relationships: Daughters of absent fathers may have difficulty forming and maintaining healthy relationships, both romantic and platonic.

  • Difficulty in self-identification: Without a positive male role model, daughters of absent fathers may struggle to understand their own identity and place in the world.

  • Difficulty in self-worth: Daughters of absent fathers may have difficulty understanding their own worth and value.

  • Difficulty in life choices: Daughters of absent fathers may have difficulty making decisions about their future career and life choices.

Our mission: Is to provide these young ladies with positive male engagement and a safe space.

Goals of the Club:

  • To help these young ladies find and understand their purpose

  • To provide resources that support their current issues

  • To provide emotional support

  • To teach healthy relationship skills

"Live out loud, and understand that what's in your brain is really useful. Do not hide it. Don't dumb it down. Don't apologize for it. Just put it on the table and let people deal with it." - Michelle Obama
